The Ivy Hall Preschool is an innovative, preschool program that brings together general education students from the Mountain Lakes community and students with hearing loss, creating self-empowered learners in an atmosphere of respect. A team of teachers works together to provide an optimal learning environment for all the preschool students. There is also a full-time, certified school nurse in the building to address any health concerns.
Our curriculum has been designed to enhance readiness for full day Kindergarten at Wildwood School, as well as providing enriched learning experiences for all children. The students participate in thematic, hands-on cooperative learning while focusing on age appropriate social development. Students learn to interact and play with others, while being exposed to a rich curriculum focusing on language arts and mathematics.
The students in Ivy Hall Preschool participate in a daily special. This includes Art, Music and Physical Education.
